Huangpu delivered 1,900TEU series 2# boxship to T.S. LINES Xinde Marine News 2022-07-11 15:16


On July 8, "TS XIAMEN", a 1,900TEU series 2# ship built by CSSC Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding was delivered.
 
"TS XIAMEN" is a BangkokMax container ship. It has a total length of 172 meters, a width of 27.5 meters, and a type-depth of 14.6 meters. It has a design speed of 18.5 knots and a dead weight of 24,000 tons.
 
"TS XIAMEN" is the second 1,900TEU container ship to be built by Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding for T.S. LINES after the first 1,900TEU vessel "TS NAGOYA" was delivered into operation.
 
T.S. LINES series of 1,900 TEU container ship built by Huangpu Wenchong, independent research and development of new type of container ship products with independent intellectual property rights, the NK classification society. This type of ship is suitable for regional operation, multiple ports, and frequent loading and unloading. It not only targets at the transportation characteristics of Bangkok port and southeast Asia, but also takes into account the demand of Asian-African, European-American routes. It has a wide range of market adaptability, and will play an important role in further enhancing the market competitiveness of the Asian routes for T.S. LINES.
