In May, the monthly container throughput of Ningbo Zhoushan Port hit a new record high after breaking the "3 million boxes" mark for the first time last month. It is expected to complete more than 3.3 million TEUs, a year-on-year growth of more than 16%. Ningbo Zhoushan Port container routes increased to 299, another record high that month.
 
Ningbo Zhoushan Port continues to improve sea-rail combined transport capacity to ensure the stability of sea-rail combined transport channel transport capacity.
 
Ningbo Zhoushan Port co-ordinate all internal assignment and the berth resources, according to the pier site storage rate, adjust the ship route docking scheme and improve the utilization rate of dock resources.
 
In addition, Ningbo Zhoushan Port has further optimized ship pre-inspection, nucleic acid testing of crew members, and handling of ships infected with COVID-19 to further shorten the non-operation time and fully release the terminal operation capacity.
 
Next, Ningbo Zhoushan Port will coordinate epidemic prevention and ensure smooth operation of logistics, striving for further achievements.
