Yangzijiang delivers its first LNG dual fuel chemical tanker Xinde Marine News Sarah Yu 2022-04-22 15:12

On April 19, the first 13,000-dwt LNG dual-fuel chemical tanker "BIT WAVE" built by Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Group for Swedish shipowner TARBIT successfully delivered.
 
The ship is also the first LNG dual-fuel chemical tanker built by Yangzijiang Shipbuilding, creating its history.

Yangzijiang Shipbuilding has received a total of 2 orders for this type of ship. This type of ship has a total length of 129.99 meters, a length of 127.20 meters, a width of 21.50 meters, a depth of 11.40 meters, a design draft of 8.50 meters, and a C-type tank.
The ship has carried out various degrees of technological innovation in aspects such as 1A ice class strengthening, dual-fuel propulsion system, dual-fuel boiler combined with inert gas. The ship has also set a new benchmark for high-end chemical tankers in Northern Europe.
