On April 8, the first 1900TEU container ship "TS NAGOYA" built by CSSC Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding for T.S. Lines successfully christened and delivered.
"TS NAGOYA" is a brand-new self-developed 1900TEU container ship launched by Huangpu Wenchong in 2020.
The smooth delivery of the first ship marked Huangpu Wenchong's historical leap from "manufacturing" to "creation" of the feeder container ship.
The ship is 172 meters long, 27.5 meters wide, 14.6 meters deep, 8.5 meters designed draft, and 18.5 knots designed speed.
The ship's EEDI index has reached Phase III, and the series of ships are also equipped with scrubbers to meet the requirements of IMO global sulfur cap. It is a green container ship with high technology and environment-friendly.
