On February 21, the 2nd Influential Chinese Brands Award Ceremony organized by China Central Television (CCTV) was held and broadcasted on CCTV's financial channel. With the theme of “Building National Confidence with the Power of Brands”, the event selected the top ten national pillar brands, top ten promising national brands and the brand of annual special contribution, all of which represent Chinese brand value.
With its outstanding performance and essential role in guaranteeing the stability of China's domestic and foreign trade transportation and the global supply chain, COSCO SHIPPING was honored as one of the top ten national pillar brands. A video-recorded interview with the Chairman of COSCO SHIPPING Mr. Wan Min was played at the ceremony.
Mr. Wan Min said, “It is the common belief of all those working in China's shipping industry that we should brave the wind and the waves hand in hand. We should make every effort to restore and safeguard an unimpeded global supply chain and to promote the healthy development of the international shipping industry.”
Mr. Fu Gangfeng, Director of the Board and President of COSCO SHIPPING, attended the event and received the trophy.
