On February 18, the christening and delivery ceremony of the second new ship "HERBERT" of the four 62,000 dwt multi-purpose heavy lift vessels ordered by Chipolbrok (Chinese-Polish Joint Stock Shipping Company) was held at CSSC Chengxi Shipyard.
This is currently the world's largest multi-purpose heavy lift vessel in deadweight. The leaders of Bocomm Leasing, China Shipbuilding Trading, CSSC Chengxi Shipyard and Chipolbrok signed the delivery documents.
The ship is 199.9 meters long, 32.26 meters wide, 19.3 meters deep, and has a full load draft of 13.5 meters. It can load nearly 2000 standard containers.
At present, the fleet of Chipolbrok has more than 30 multi-purpose heavy lift vessels with more than 1 million deadweight.
