On January 7, the signing ceremony of CNOOC's medium and long-term FOB resource supporting LNG carrier project was successfully held in Beijing, Shanghai and Tokyo through the "cloud signing".

This is the largest one-time order for LNG carriers (7.5 billion) and the largest number of new ships (6 ships) in the history of China's shipbuilding industry.
Hudong-Zhonghua and China Shipbuilding Trading signed a contract for the construction of 6 174,000 m3 large-scale LNG carriers with Mitsui O.S.K. Lines.

CNOOC Gas & Power Group, as the charterer, signed the ship chartering contract with the representative of shipowners at the ceremony.
The LNG carrier signed this time is the fifth-generation "Changheng Series" LNG ship independently developed by Hudong Zhonghua.

Hudong Zhonghua is China's only large-scale LNG carrier manufacturing company for the entire industry chain. It has successfully delivered 30 large-scale LNG ships.
