DSIC delivers the fifth 115,000DWT tanker to Maersk Tankers xinde marine news Sarah Yu 2021-07-15 11:32

On July 14, the 115,000DWT crude /product carrier No. 1 "MAERSK SILVIA" built by Dalian Shipbuilding Industry for Maersk Tankers was signed for delivery.
 
This ship is the fifth ship in a series of 10 ship projects built by DSIC for Maersk Tankers. Representatives of all parties attended the delivery ceremony and signed the delivery documents.
"MAERSK SILVIA" has a total length of 250.0 meters, a molded width of 44.0 meters, a molded depth of 21.9 meters, and a deadweight of 115,000DWT; This series of ships has excellent fuel-saving performance and cargo capacity, and is a new generation of crude/product carrier.
 
Nearly half of the ships of this series have been completed, and the ship construction period and construction quality are becoming mature and stable.
