On May 12, Huangpu Wenchong, a subsidiary of CSSC, delivered the 1,400TEU dual-fuel container "CONTAINERSHIPS STELLAR" (H5543) to CMA CGM.
 
CMA CGM's 1400TEU dual-fuel container ship series is a total of 6 ships, ship # 6 is the last ship.
 
It has a total length of 169.95 meters, a width of 26.9 meters and a depth of 14.85 meters. It has a designed speed of 19.15 knots under draft and a range of 3,200 nautical miles in gas mode and 6,500 nautical miles in fuel mode.
 
The 1400TEU dual-fuel container ship is a feeder container ship specially developed and designed by Huangpu Wenchong for the Baltic Sea area. It adopts advanced dual fuel system, has ICE CLASS 1A ice strengthening symbol, meets SECA emission standard, and can load the largest 45 foot container in European road transportation.

The ship is equipped with a new generation of low-pressure common rail dual-fuel main engine, dual-fuel generator and dual-fuel boiler. The emissions of sulfur oxides and PM are almost zero. Nitrogen oxides can be reduced by 85%-90% and carbon dioxide by 15%-20% compared with low-speed engines in the same working condition.
 
The first delivery of the fleet was made on December 12, 2018. The fleet will be deployed in the North Sea and the Baltic Sea, and its environmental protection, cold resistance and other superior performance will meet the operational requirements of European customers.
