On November 3, COSCO (Nantong) Shipyard and CRCC Harbour and Channel Engineering Bureau Group signed the wind power installation vessel modification contract of "TIE JIAN QIAN 01".

"TIE JIAN QIAN 01" is 78.6 meters long, 40 meters wide, 6 meters deep, with a design draft of 4.8 meters and a maximum sinking depth of 25.5 meters.

It was originally a non-self-propelled semi-submersible deck barge with auxiliary propulsion. In order to meet the wind turbine installation needs at the offshore wind power construction site, it is planned to add two cranes and a working platform, and make appropriate modifications to the original ship.

After the modification, the ship not only still has the function of semi-submersible operations, but also meets the requirements for hoisting and installing wind turbines in offshore navigation areas.
