On April 20, Dalian shipbuilding Industry signed a contract for the delivery of a 325,000-ton ore carrier "IRON MOUNTAIN" with scrubber, the world's leading "offshore giant", which was built for SK Shipping of South Korea.
 
" IRON MOUNTAIN " is the first new generation of vary large ore carrier (VLOC) built by DSIC for South Korean shipowners. The ballast system of the whole ship is made of glass fiber reinforced plastic, equipped with exhaust sulfur oxide scrubber device.
 
With a length of 339.90m, a width of 62.00m, a depth of 29.50m, and a load capacity of 325000t, it has entered Korean Register and Lloyd's Register.
 
DSIC actively implements precise policies, and grasps both sides of epidemic prevention production to ensure the steady progress of production.
