On April 15, Cosco Shipping Heavy Industry's Dalian yard held the naming and delivery ceremony of the sixth 62,000-ton pulp ship "COSCO SHIPPING CHANG QING" built for COSCO SHIPPING Specialized Carriers.
 
"COSCO SHIPPING CHANG QING" has a total length of 201.8 meters, a width of 32.26 meters, a depth of 19.3 meters, a draft of 13.3 meters, a speed of 13.5 knots, a endurance of 22,000 nautical miles. The vessel will be registered as Chinese flag, and joining China Classification Society.
 
COSCO SHIPPING Specialized has successively signed "2 + 1" and "5 + 4" 62,000-ton multi-purpose pulp ship construction contracts with Cosco Shipping Heavy Industry.
 
The delivery of "COSCO SHIPPING CHANG QING" makes the operation of COSCO SHIPPING Specialized more balanced and stable in the eastern route of South America.
 
In February this year, COSCO SHIPPING Specialized officially launched the quasi-liner service of pulp ships on the eastern route of South America, which has provided customers with stable steel transportation service to the port of South San Francisco in Brazil for 3 consecutive months.
