According to public data from Zhejiang Port & Shipping, from January to October this year, Ningbo Zhoushan Port completed a cargo throughput of 1.028 billion dwt, a year-on-year increase of 4.0%. Since 2017, the cargo throughput exceeded 1 billion dwt for the fifth consecutive year; The container throughput was 26.72 million TEUs, an increase of 11% year-on-year, and the port transportation production achieved steady growth.
 
Ningbo Zhoushan port continues to build an intensive transportation network. In terms of shipping, Ningbo Zhoushan Port is actively opening up new routes. In October, an ocean-going trunk line was added, bringing the total number of routes to 285, a record high.
 
In terms of land, Ningbo Zhoushan Port has deepened the construction of multimodal transportation channels such as sea-rail combined transportation, river-sea combined transportation and sea-river combined transportation. In October, the sea-rail combined transportation business volume was 113,000 TEUs, a year-on-year increase of 42.2%.
 
From January to October, Ningbo Zhoushan Port's iron ore unloading volume, coal unloading volume, liquefied oil product unloading volume, grain unloading volume and ro-ro business maintained stable development.
