Dalian Port appoints Wei Minghui as new chairman xinde marine news 2020-01-02 15:27


The board of directors of Dalian Port Company Limited announce that, following the resignation of Mr. XU Song as the chairman of the Board and a non-executive director of the Company on 16 December 2019, Mr. WEI Minghui has been elected by the directors of the Company as the chairman of the Board with immediate effect from the date of this announcement until expiry of the term of the fifth session of the Board.
 
The biographical details of Mr. Wei are as follows:
 
Mr. Wei Minghui, born in 1969, Chinese. Mr. Wei held various positions including the general manager of Dalian Port (PDA) Company Limited*'s Automotive Logistics Division, the general manager and branch secretary of the Party Committee of Dalian Automobile Terminal Co., Ltd, a director of Dalian Port Group Corporation Limited and the general manager of Dalian Port (PDA) Company Limited*. He is currently an executive director and the chairman of the Board of Dalian Port (PDA) Company Limited* and holds relevant position in certain subsidiaries of the Company. Mr. Wei obtained a bachelor degree in Transportation Management from Wuhan University of Technology and a master degree in transportation planning and management from Dalian Maritime University. He is a senior specialist in logistics.
 
Mr. Wei's remuneration will be determined in accordance with the relevant internal regulations and by-laws of the company.
