On the morning of November 7, a delegation headed by Mr. Luis Quesada, Peruvian Ambassador to China and Mr. Jose Picasso Salinas, Chairman of Volcan Compania Minera S.A.A., visited COSCO SHPPING. Mr. Sun Jiakang, Director of the Board of COSCO SHIPPING, met with the delegation. The two sides had an extensive exchange of views on the operations and project investment of COSCO SHPIPING in Peru.
Hailing the Chancay Terminal project invested by COSCO SHPIPING in Peru, Ambassador Luis Quesada said the project marks the friendly relations between China and Peru. The two sides agreed that the deep friendship between China and Peru will boost the economic and trade cooperation between their business communities as well as the economic development of both countries.
Executives from the Strategy & Corporate Management Division, Operating Management Division, COSCO SHIPPING Ports and Chancay Company also attended the talks.
