On October 31, Qingdao Port successfully completed automatic loading of 7637TEU export container of “MSC Zoe” (including 415TEU of dangerous goods), realizing the world's first traditional container terminal automatic loading of all ships.

The ship is 395 meters long. There are no import containers on the ship, all of which are export containers. The volume of dangerous goods is high (the total container volume is 7637T dangerous goods 415T). The loading of 8 bridge cranes is difficult.

Automatic loading is a computer program module that replaces manual loading of container ships. It is very beneficial to the rapid loading, safe operation of container ships and rational, efficient and high-quality production organization of terminals.

Qingdao port QQCT is one of the largest single container terminals in the world. The shipping companies with ultra-large container ships in the world are all berthing at QQCT.The large-scale container ships put forward higher requirements on the loading speed and accuracy of dock ships.

The successful application of automatic loading in traditional terminals has improved the overall operational efficiency and service level of the terminal, promoted the automation and intelligent transformation of the overall operation process and business model, and provided assistance for the construction of intelligent terminals.
