Wan Hai Lines inaugurates Japan -Korea-Haiphong Service



TAIWAN's Wan Hai Lines (WHL) is to launch a new Japan-Korea-Haiphong service (JKH) on April 22 to boost the carrier's network.
 
The service will be jointly operated by WHL and Interasia Lines (IAL) using 3 vessels with nominal capacity of 1,800 TEU. Wan Hai Lines will deploy two vessels, while IAL will operate one vessel.
 
JKH's maiden voyage will commence from Pusan port on April 22 and arrive in Haiphong on May 1. It will be a 21-day fixed round trip schedule, reports Hellenic Shipping News.
 
The port rotation is: Hakata, Moji, Pusan, Ulsan, Kwangyang, Keelung, Kaohsiung, Haiphong, Shekou, Hong Kong, Xiamen and returning to Hakata.
 
WHL said ia statement that it is confident that customers will be further benefited from this direct service and coverage between Japan, Korea and Haiphong.
