Chongqing approves 4 wind power projects, totaling 325 MW xinde marine news 2018-12-27 15:30


Southwestern China's Chongqing municipality has approved four new wind power projects with a total capacity of 325 MW on December 20, a move to promote clean energy while boosting regional development, sources reported, citing the municipal reform and development commission. 
 
Two projects are located in Nanchuan district, namely the Shanshuicun and Xiangshuling wind farm. 
 
The Shanshuicun wind farm, with an installed capacity of 90 MW, will be constructed by Datang Fengdu New Energy Co., Ltd. at a total investment of 720 million yuan ($104 million). 
 
Chongqing Nanchuan Derong Jirui New Energy Co., Ltd. will take charge of the construction of Xiangshuling wind farm in Nanchuan district. The installed capacity of the project is 100 MW, with a total investment of 848 million yuan. 
 
The other two are Shizishan wind farm in Kaizhou district and Wudongyan wind farm Phase II in Fengdu county. 
 
Xintian Green Energy Co., Ltd. is responsible for the construction of Shizishan wind farm, with an installed capacity of 75 MW and a total investment of 634.68 million yuan. 
 
Chongqing Fengdu Wudongyan Wind Power Generation Co., Ltd. is responsible for the construction of Wudongyan wind farm phase II. The installed capacity is designed at 60 MW and total investment estimated to be 460.52 million yuan.
