1.China's largest state-owned international and domestic container shipping and related services company COSCO shipping lines is opening its first branch in Sarajevo of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
 
2.China's research icebreaker Xuelong is at a dock in east China's Shanghai,Sept 26,2018. Researchers on China's research icebreaker Xuelong returned to the home port in Shanghai Wednesday after finishing the country's 9th Arctic expedition which lasted for 69 days.
 
3.OOCL is to introduce the new China-Ho Chi Minh Service(CHL) and China-Laem Chabang Service(CHL4) starting October 12 and October 14 respectively with both first sailings starting in Dalian, China.
 
4.The marine construction unit of the state-owned China Communications Construction Company (CCCC) on Tuesday signed an agreement to work with Singapore-based commodities trader Zenrock Group to purchase fuel.
 
5.China is willing to further open up and will provide more opportunities to LNG suppliers as a huge market,a senior official said at a press conference conducted by the Information Office of the State Council on September 25. 
 
6.China's iron ore futures closed higher on Wednesday.The most active contract for January 2019 delivery ended the day session up 0.1% at 502 yuan per ton. 
 
7.The International Maritime Organization (IMO) will not delay implementing a reduction in the amount of sulphur in marine fuel in 2020,an IMO official said on Tuesday.
 
8.China has released a guideline on preventing the resurgence of illegal docks and unlawful sand dredging along the Yangtze River.
