1.Under the influence of typhoon Rumbia,heavy rain and strong wind began to hit Bengbu City in east China's Anhui province on Friday afternoon,forcing nearly 300 cargo ships to anchor the ship lock as the Bengbu lock along the Huaihe River lacked navigation conditions.
 
2.On the afternoon of August 20,China Merchants Group and Sinopec signed a strategic cooperation agreement.The two sides will devote to their respective advantages and carry out strategic cooperation in the fields of energy transportation,comprehensive logistics,e-commerce platform and financial services and so on.

6.Tian En,COSCO's multi-functional ship,is delivering wind power equipment to ports in France,the Netherlands and Sweden.This year,China will have seven ships pass through the Arctic's Northeast Passage.In a white paper declaring its Arctic policy earlier this year,China pledged to further cooperate with other countries to jointly build the Polar Silk Road.
 
7.The Cemtex Pioneer, a vessel carrying U.S. soybeans that was caught up in the China-U.S. trade row, has left east China's port of Nantong near Shanghai, according to shipping data on Thomson Reuters Eikon on Sunday.
 
8.China's iron ore futures close higher Monday.The most active contract for January 2019 delivery ended the day session up 1.71% at 506.50 yuan per ton.
