Throughput of Shanghai Port reaches record high of 4.02 mln xinde marine news 2018-08-01 14:22






Aerial photo shows the Yangshan Deep Water Port, an automated container terminal, in east China's Shanghai. Built on the Bigger and Lesser Yangshan Isles south of Shanghai, the Yangshan Deep Water Port has benefited the city's maritime trade since its operation. The Port of Shanghai currently maintains container trade relations with more than 500 ports worldwide. In 2017, the TEU (twenty-foot container equivalent units) throughput of the Port of Shanghai reached a record high of 4.02 million, growing 8.3 percent year on year.
