A New Shipyard Arising in China, Founded in 2025 and Already Securing Up to 11 Vessels in Two Deals! Xinde Marine News Chen Yang 2025-09-08 18:01

Founded in February 2025, Liaoning Xinhai Shipbuilding & Repairing Co., Ltd. has wasted no time in making its mark. Within just a few months of establishment, the yard has already secured two major newbuilding deals:
1+6 × 4,300 DWT bulk/general cargo vessels with Jinhua Shipping
1+3 × 14,000 DWT bulk/general cargo vessels with Dalian TRAWIND SHIPPING

In total, this means up to 11 new ships could be built at the newly established yard.

Backed by strong infrastructure, modern facilities, and the vision of “Stand up by faith, and rise to the sea,” Xinhai Shipbuilding is positioning itself as a new force in China’s vibrant shipbuilding sector — proving that even the youngest players can move fast when opportunities arise.

With a focus on sub-50,000 DWT multipurpose, heavy-lift, bulk, container, and energy-efficient vessels, the company is setting its sights on both domestic and international markets.
