Relocating a factory is often described as one of the most complex and stressful challenges in industrial logistics. When operations are scattered across borders—with equipment distributed across 7 different sites in Germany, Austria, and the Czech Republic—the task becomes even more daunting.
And when the destination is China?
That’s where POLBROK, a subsidiary of Chipolbrok, steps in.
The result? Over 400 tons of automotive equipment delivered safely and efficiently to China.
Over the course of a year, POLBROK managed the full end-to-end cargo handling and freight forwarding for this relocation. A total of 203 truckloads of equipment were moved across Europe, then consolidated at three key ports: Hamburg in Germany, Koper in Slovenia, and Gdańsk in Poland. From there, 109 containers, including 34 oversized units, were shipped on six separate vessels, all bound for Chongqing Port in China.

Vehicle resources fully mobilized ahead of the holiday rush
Throughout the project, POLBROK tackled a wide range of challenges—from coordinating across five European countries, to overcoming seasonal capacity shortages, customs document complications, and last-minute supplier changes. Even during the busy Christmas season, POLBROK ensured every piece of machinery was identified, packed, and shipped on schedule.
