Recently, the university-industry-research cooperation project “Key Technology and Application of Intelligent Underwater Inspection Equipment for Ships,” jointly implemented by Dalian COSCO KHI Ship Engineering Co., Ltd. (DACKS) and a team led by Professor Xu Minyi from the Marine Engineering College of Dalian Maritime University, won the First Prize of China’s University-Industry-Research Cooperation Innovation Achievement Award in 2021.
The achievement represents another breakthrough made by DACKS after its “Five-sphere Integrated Training Mode for Innovative Talents in Marine Engineering in the Context of New Engineering” was awarded as a model case of “Double-hundred Plan of University-Enterprise Cooperation” by China Association of Higher Education (CAHE) in 2020. It raised the quality of the enterprise’s achievements in industry-university-research cooperation to a new level.
