On May 22, Shandong Port Group’s Qingdao Port Automated Terminal once again redefined global standards — setting a new world record for automated container handling efficiency and speed.

During operations with A.P. Moller - Maersk’s CAP SAN LAZARO, the terminal achieved an astonishing 62.62 natural containers/hour per crane — the highest ever recorded, completing the full exchange in just 10 hours and 35 minutes.

This marks the 13th time Qingdao Port has broken the world record since 2017 — solidifying its position as a global leader in smart port development.
