On December 16th, 2024, Anji Logistics successfully held its Strategic Investment Signing Ceremony at the SAIC Group Headquarters in Shanghai. Witnessed by the leaders of COSCO SHIPPING Group, Shanghai International Port (Group) Co., Ltd (SIPG), and SAIC Group, the event marked a significant milestone as COSCO Shipping Holdings and SIPG signed strategic investment agreements with Anji Logistics.

Investment Details:
COSCO Shipping Holdings and SIPG will each invest RMB 1 billion, subscribing to RMB 75 million of Anji Logistics' newly registered capital.

Following the investment, Anji Logistics' registered capital will increase from RMB 600 million to RMB 750 million, with COSCO Shipping and SIPG each holding a 10% stake in Anji Logistics.

Founded in 2000, SAIC Anji Logistics is a global leader in automotive logistics and one of China's first 5A-rated logistics companies. The company has developed a comprehensive "T-shaped port network" across major coastal and inland regions, including Shanghai, Dalian, Tianjin, Guangzhou, Nanjing, Wuhan, Chongqing, and Taicang.

With an extensive fleet of 32 automotive carriers (including inland, coastal, and international ships), Anji Logistics operates 8 international routes, connecting key export destinations such as Southeast Asia, Mexico, South America, Europe, and Australia. Its international presence spans Thailand, Indonesia, North America, Mexico, and Europe, with localized warehousing and transportation capabilities. Annual logistics capacity reaches 10 million vehicles, and its global network covers over 100 countries.

COSCO Shipping Group emphasized that this collaboration aligns with its strategy to expand end-to-end supply chain services in the automotive sector, fostering integration between advanced manufacturing and modern logistics services.

SIPG noted that this partnership will strengthen Shanghai Port’s global competitiveness, solidifying its position as the world’s leading ro-ro (roll-on/roll-off) port and boosting the city's international shipping hub status.

Anji Logistics will leverage this capital infusion to:
Expand its international business, including investments in a robust ro-ro fleet.

Develop end-to-end logistics solutions for China’s automotive exports, ensuring seamless door-to-door delivery across key global markets.

Anji Logistics’ General Manager Zhuang Jingxiong emphasized that the partnership with COSCO Shipping and SIPG will optimize resource allocation, foster governance excellence, and accelerate international growth to support Chinese automakers’ global ambitions.
