BYD's New PCTC Vessel Sets Sail + First Self-Owned Vessel Delivery in December! xinde marine news Chen Yang 2024-11-29 15:23


BYD
has successfully taken delivery of another Zodiac-ordered PCTC (Pure Car and Truck Carrier) vessel, the BYD CHANGZHOU, from CIMC Raffles Shipyard in Longkou(Yantai). The ship has now officially set sail on its maiden voyage! 

This marks another significant milestone in BYD’s expansion of its global logistics and transportation capabilities, particularly in the automotive shipping sector. The new vessel is part of BYD’s growing fleet to enhance its supply chain and meet increasing demand across international markets.

Additionally, according to XINDE MARINE NEWS‘ exclusive industry sources, BYD's first self-owned PCTC vessel is set for delivery on December 28th at Guangzhou Shipyard International(GSI). This will be the company’s first-ever self-built car carrier, further strengthening BYD’s commitment to controlling and optimizing its global logistics network.
