COSCO SHIPPING Development Launches New Company: Hainan COSCO SHIPPING Development Shipping Co., Ltd. Xinde Marine News Pang Kai 2024-10-17 11:07


On October 15, 2024, Hainan COSCO SHIPPING Development Shipping Co., Ltd. was officially established with a registered capital of 820 million RMB.

The new company, led by legal representative Hu Buwei, will focus on general cargo transportation, hazardous goods transportation, and domestic ship management, strengthening COSCO's foothold in both international and domestic shipping.

This new venture is a fully-owned subsidiary of COSCO SHIPPING Development Co., Ltd. (the "Company"), a core entity under China COSCO Shipping Corporation Ltd. (COSCO SHIPPING Group).

COSCO SHIPPING Development, founded in 1997 and headquartered in Shanghai, is listed on both Hong Kong and Shanghai stock exchanges, with a registered capital of 13.573 billion RMB.

The company is dedicated to the integrated development of shipping logistics, container manufacturing, container leasing, and shipping leasing, with a strong focus on investment management.

With this new company, COSCO SHIPPING Development continues to solidify its position as a leading player in the global shipping and logistics sector, driving the industry forward with comprehensive services and innovative solutions.
