According to XINDE MARINE NEWS, Zhang Feng has been appointed as the Deputy General Manager and a member of the Party Leadership Group at COSCO Shipping Group. 

 

With a distinguished career spanning nearly three decades in the container shipping industry, Zhang Feng brings extensive experience and expertise to his new role.

 

Since joining COSCO in 1995, Zhang Feng has held several key positions within the organization, including Deputy Manager and Manager of Global Sales at COSCO Container Lines’ Marketing Department, as well as Deputy Manager and Manager of the Americas Trade Marketing Department. His leadership was further demonstrated during his tenure as Assistant President at COSCO (Los Angeles) Agency and as Executive Vice President at COSCO Container Lines (Americas). He also served as Deputy General Manager, Executive Deputy General Manager, and General Manager of the Americas Trade Region for COSCO Container Lines.

 

In addition to his operational roles, Zhang Feng has held several prominent board and executive positions, including Director at New Xin Hai Shipping Co., Vice President of COSCO Shipping Southeast Asia, and President of COSCO Shipping North America. Most recently, in May 2024, he was appointed Director, General Manager, and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of @COSCO Shipping Container Lines Co., Ltd.

 

Zhang Feng is a graduate of Beijing Foreign Studies University, where he majored in French, and he holds the title of Economist. His international perspective and professional acumen have earned him widespread recognition within the industry.
