High Ton Officially Enters the Kamsarmax Market with Three New Vessel Acquisitions! Xinde Marine News Pang Kai 2024-08-08 17:33

We are excited to announce that High Ton has made a significant move to enhance its market competitiveness and fleet capacity by officially entering the Kamsarmax sector. The company, through its wholly-owned subsidiaries, has successfully purchased three dry bulk vessels, marking a major milestone in its expansion efforts.

Vessel Details:
- Names: THERESA JIANGSU, THERESA JILIN, and THERESA GUANGDONG
- Type: Kamsarmax dry bulk carriers
- DWT: 82,000 tons each
- Year Built: 2012
- Built in China

On August 1, High Ton announced that its wholly-owned subsidiaries—Dawu Shipping Co., Ltd., Dabo Shipping Co., Ltd., and Daai Shipping Co., Ltd.—acquired three dry bulk vessels from the wholly-owned subsidiaries of Wilmar International Limited (WILMAR), specifically Serena Shipping Co Pte. Ltd., Juliana Shipping Co Pte. Ltd., and Monalisa Shipping Co Pte. Ltd. The total transaction amount was USD 57.3 million.

In the past two years, High Ton has expanded its fleet by acquiring a total of 22 second-hand vessels, significantly boosting its operational capabilities and market presence.
