Shandong Port Group Shanxi (Changzhi) Inland Port opened at Changzhi Land Port International Logistics Park on Jan 24.
The "Shandong Port Group (SPG) Qingdao Port - Changzhi" intermodal train service was launched alongside it, becoming the first inland port and train route opened by SPG Logistics Group in 2024.
Located at the junction of three provinces - Shanxi, Hebei and Henan, Changzhi boasts abundant mineral resources. In recent years, it has been actively developing industrial clusters in sectors like high-end equipment manufacturing, steel, coal chemical industry and new energy.
The establishment of the logistics park and train route is intended to create a comprehensive logistics system with complete functions, seamless interconnection, and convenience. This initiative will facilitate the integration and development of ports and inland regions, providing stronger support for economic activities.
