China Merchants Group and  Zhejiang Geely Holding Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement.

Both parties agreed to carry out cooperation on automotive supply chain, methanol industry, green shipping, smart transportation, finance, zone construction and revitalization of Northeast China, promotion of renewable energy vehicles, industrial internet, and digital carbon management, among other areas.

In order to jointly promote the green transition of shipping, China Merchants and Geely will jointly build methanol industry chain eco-system, carry out cooperation on green methanol production, storage, transportation and bunkering station, as well as cooperate in depth on marine methanol hydrogen power system, green and low carbon marine fuels, and accelerate the application of green methanol technology in shipping industry.
