Xiangyu Shipbuilding won orders for two 64,000 dwt bulk carriers Xinde Marine News Sarah Yu 2023-11-29 15:33

On November 28, the signing ceremony of the construction contract for two 64,000 dwt bulk carriers between Fujian Shipping Company and Nantong Xiangyu Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering was successfully held.

The 64,000 dwt bulk carrier contracted to be built is a Handymax carrier. It can achieve higher efficiency with lower power consumption, promote energy conservation and emission reduction, and contribute to the "dual carbon" goal.
 
The signing of the construction contract for two 64,000 dwt bulk carriers opened a new chapter in the development of Fujian Shipping’s shipping capacity.
