Rizhao Port: full-service logistics business kicks off SPG 2023-11-27 10:14


The Bell Bay, a vessel loaded with 34,000 cubic meters of New Zealand logs, recently berthed successful at Lanshan Terminal of Rizhao Port, which is operated by Shandong Port Group.
 
Later, the logs on board were unloaded at Rizhao Lin-gang Industrial Park for storage. This marks the inaugural collaboration of the Shandong Port Logistics Group's Supply Chain Comprehensive Service Center and Rizhao Port in full-service logistics operation for logs from New Zealand. 
 
Taking advantage of Rizhao Lanshan Port's benefits, the logistics group tailors an end-to-end logistics solution for customers, including procurement, customs clearance, transportation and warehousing.
 
The supply chain comprehensive service center works closely with the customs and port authorities to ensure streamlined customs clearance, transshipment, unloading and transportation. Meanwhile, Rizhao Lin-gang Industrial Park has stepped up efforts in timber transportation, fumigation, and measurement to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
 
The inauguration of full-service logistics operation reduces logistics costs by about 12 percent, further solidifying the esteemed reputation of Shandong Port Group's logistics services.
