On September 21, COSCO SHIPPING Energy Transportation announced that it planned to spend approximately US$118 million to participate in the investment of three LNG ships in ENN LNG transportation project built by MOL in Hudong-Zhonghua.
COSCO SHIPPING Energy said that the three LNG transport ships in this project mainly serve the long-term transportation needs of ENN LNG.
MOL signed a long-term time charter contract with ENN LNG in September last year for three new LNG ships. The three ships will be built by Hudong-Zhonghua and are scheduled to be delivered before 2028.
