Green and low-carbon development has become the theme of the times, and low-carbon or even zero-carbon emission ships have become the mainstream development trend. Methanol has shown strong potential as an alternative fuel, surpassing LNG in international shipping orders and becoming the preferred choice for shipowners.
China Classification Society Wuhan Branch actively provides pre-contract technical services, closely cooperates with CSSC Jiujiang, participates in the research and development of methanol dual-fuel boilers, and evaluates and inspects the entire process of design, manufacturing, test verification, etc., playing a positive role for enterprises to seize the global ship market opportunities.
