Chinese steel prices slightly rebound in early Jul Sxcoal 2023-07-17 16:34


Steel products prices in China represented a slight bounce-back in early July (July 1-10), showed the latest data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).
 
The average price of construction steel rebar (HRB 400, 20mm) at 25 major cities in China rose 3.2 yuan/t or 0.1% from ten days earlier to 3708.2 yuan/t during this period.
 
Prices of wire (HPB 300, 6.5mm) averaged 3,909.8 yuan/t in the same period, up 3.9 yuan/t or 0.1% from ten days ago.
 
Prices of common medium plate (Q235, 20mm) picked up by 5.0 yuan/t or 0.1% from the preceding session to 4,066.0 yuan/t.
 
Hot-rolled plate (Q235, 3mm) increased 16.4 yuan/t or 0.4% to 3,901.9 yuan/t.
 
Seamless steel tube gained 8.1 yuan/t or 0.2% to 4,682.7 yuan/t.
 
Angle steel ascended 44.8 yuan/t or 1.1% to 4061.9 yuan/t, data showed.
