On July 12, CSSC Chengxi Shipyard and China Shipbuilding Trading signed a contract for the construction of two 82,600 dwt bulk carriers with Huaxia Financial Leasing.

The ship type of this project is the 82,600 dwt bulk carrier independently developed by Chengxi, and it is also the project of cooperation between Chengxi Shipyard and Huaxia Financial Leasing after signing 8 63,500 dwt bulk carriers at the end of 2021.
 
This ship type has the characteristics of green environmental protection, excellent performance, large cargo capacity, and strong adaptability, meeting the emission standards of IMO Tier III and EEDI Phase III.
