Cosco Shipping Specialized announced on March 29 that it would issue a maximum of 643,995,231 A-shares to a specific target, raising a total of no more than 3.5 billion yuan for the leasing of 29 multipurpose pulp vessels and the construction of a 65,000 DWT semi-submerged vessel.
The lease of 29 multipurpose pulp vessels includes twelve 62,000 DWT multipurpose pulp vessels, twelve 70,000 DWT multipurpose pulp vessels, and five 68,000 DWT multipurpose pulp vessels.
It is proposed to invest in the construction of a 65,000 DWT semi-submerged vessel in Guangzhou Shipyard International (GSI), with a total investment of US $121.8 million.
