CDB Leasing cost $284m to purchase 2 GasLog's LNG carrier Xinde Marine News Vivian Xu 2023-03-22 15:38


On March 20, China Development Bank Financial Leasing announced that it plans to acquire two LNG carriers from GasLog for $284 million.
 
Two wholly owned companies of China Development Bank Financial Leasing acted as the buyer, with the seller Gas-five Ltd. and Gas-nine Ltd. entered into an agreement on March 20 for the purchase of two LNG carriers at a cost not exceeding US $284 million (1.951 billion Yuan).
 
Gas-five Ltd. and Gas-nine Ltd. are two Bermuda-incorporated companies engaged primarily in the transportation business, of which Gas-five Ltd. indirectly and wholly owned by GasLog Partners LP, Gas-nine Ltd. is indirectly and wholly owned by GasLog Ltd.
