On September 5, Jiangnan Shipbuilding signed a strategic cooperation agreement with CSSC Shanghai Marine Diesel Engine Research Institute.

On the same day, the two sides also signed a contract for four 14,000TEU container FGSS with Singapore shipowner PIL.
