CNOOC first LNG refueling station starts work Xinde Marine News Vivian Xu 2022-08-22 16:48

On August 19, China National Offshore Oil Corporation's subsidiary company investing an LNG refueling station project starts work in Yuecheng of Deqing. It is Guangdong's first fixed LNG refueling station, marks the largest domestic green shipping breakthrough in demonstration project.
 
During the 14th Five-Year Plan, Guangdong plans to build or renovate about 1,500 LNG powered vessels. CNOOC, as the LNG refueling station builder and gas source supplier, actively accelerates the construction of ship refueling station, which can meet the refueling demand of more than 500 vessels.
 
The LNG refueling station is the first fixed LNG refueling station of CNOOC, which will built one 3,000 DWT refueling berth, and two 250 cubic meter LNG storage tanks, which can provide LNG refueling services for more than 100 ships.
