On August 10, the Hydrogen Energy Industry Development Plan of Liaoning Province (2021-2025) was released. It is mentioned in the Development Plan that by 2025, fuel cell ships and other industries will achieve breakthroughs, and the total number of fuel cell ships in the province will reach more than 50. By 2035, the number of fuel cell ships will reach more than 1,500.
 
In 2021-2025, It will focus on developing fuel cell tourism vessels and official ships on inland rivers, lakes and offshore waters. From 2026 to 2035, It will focus on developing operation ships, fishing boats, passenger ships and yachts operating in fuel cell port areas.
