On July 13, Ningbo Zhoushan Port held a grounding breaking ceremony for Zhongzhai Pre-blending Project in Chuanshan port. The project by Ningbo Zhoushan Port Company Limited, Vale, Shagang Group, is the world's "biggest port", the global biggest mine and the largest private steel mills cooperated again.
 
Zhongzhai Pre-blending Project relying on the wharf and yard resources, plans to build 1 by ore matching room warehouse, corridor, strong mixing chamber warehouse and conveying device composed of iron ore fine line, mixed up to eight different kinds of iron ore products, break traditional metallurgical enterprises of blending ore matching process, the realization of blending product ore heap can be straight and straight loading function.
 
The project is scheduled for completion in March 2023 and is expected to produce 15 million tons of mixed ore annually. The refined mixed mineral products produced after the project is put into operation will be used exclusively for Shagang. Vale is committed to supply quality iron ore products such as BRBF from Brazil as part of the raw material for the project and to provide technical support for the fine blending operation.
