China's first automated container terminal put into operation Xinde Marine News 2022-06-29 14:17

On June 28, the opening ceremony of automatic container terminal No. 7 and 8 in south of Dalanping operation area was held in Qinzhou by Beibu Gulf Port Group.
 
The automated gantry crane stably lifts containers to IGV cars, marking the world's first U shaped process and the official opening of China's first sea-rail container terminal.
 
Qinzhou automated container terminal of Beibu Gulf Port project will be implemented step by step in two phases, among which the operation of this phase is the first phase. The second phase of the project is currently under construction, with two 200,000-ton berths under construction and an annual capacity of 1.6 million TEUS, which will be put into operation in 2023.
