Li Keqiang urged port to ship backlogged containers as soon as possible Xinde Marine News 2022-06-08 14:36

On June 6, Li Keqiang, member of the Standing Committee of the 19th CPC Central Committee Political Bureau, Premier of the State Council, visited the Ministry of Transport and presided over a symposium.

He urged port to ship the backlog of containers as soon as possible while fighting the epidemic. Chinese economy has been deeply integrated into the world. China has been the world's largest trading nation for five consecutive years. Ports are major channels for opening up to outside. We need to improve handling and transshipment and customs clearance efficiency to maintain stability of industrial and supply chains.

China needs to strengthen transportation infrastructure and modern logistics system, start construction of a number of projects as soon as possible, cultivate and strengthen logistics market, build a unified and open transportation and freight market system, and reduce logistics costs for the whole society.
