On May 29, the Shanghai Municipal People's government issued an action plan for Accelerating Economic Recovery and Revitalization in Shanghai, which includes eight aspects and 50 policies and measures.
The plan encourages port enterprises to reduce or exempt cargo storage fees for a specific period of time, shipping enterprises to reduce or exempt demurrage fees for a specific period of time, and port and shipping enterprises to reduce or exempt foreign trade import and export related logistics operation fees.
The approval system for enterprises to resume work and production will be abolished from June 1, and domestic and international logistics and transportation channels will be unblocked.
