Shanghai Yangshan Port normal operating, throughput increased year on year Xinde Marine News 2022-04-26 16:37

Since the new round of nucleic acid testing in Shanghai, the number of vessels entering and exiting Yangshan port has reached 631, 10.9% more than the same period last year, and the number of entry-exit port personnel has reached 14,700, 12.2% more than the same period last year.

With the full support of inspection units at ports, ships berthed and departed safely, cargo loaded and unloaded efficiently, and vehicles entered and exit port in an orderly manner. All terminals operated normally around the clock except for extreme inclement weather.

The staff strengthens the information exchange with port joint inspection units, port and navigation enterprises, accurately grasps the ship berthing dynamics and crew changes.

In order to reduce the impact of the epidemic on the transfer efficiency of containers in and out of Yangshan port, single containers that originally needed to be transported in and out of the port by land should be transported to various places by freighters connected to Yangshan port or luchao port railway freight hub, so as to relieve the pressure of land transportation.

Entry-exit procedures for international vessels have been handled online, making it more efficient and safety.
