SPG opens new container liner route SPG 2022-03-30 10:05

Carrier Yongxin 17 started its maiden voyage from Rizhao Port on March 7, marking the official operation of the new Rizhao-Zhanjiang container liner route, which showcases the cooperation between Rizhao Port and Quanzhou Antong Logistic Co.

The new route not only offers new services connecting Rizhao and Zhanjiang ports, but it also facilitates the flow of production factors between the country's southern and northern regions. It will accelerate the high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin and the Beibu Gulf Rim region, and promote the positive interplay between domestic circulation and international circulation.

Authorities said that the new route will further advance the integration of south-north domestic container liner routes and ultimately solidify Rizhao Port's comparative advantages of its completed domestic trade container route services. It will offer high-quality services to its customers by connecting South China, spanning the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and the Hainan Free Trade Port, as well as countries and regions in Southeast Asia.
