CMES, Sinotrans and CMPort sign agreement with Sinotruk CMES 2022-01-18 11:37


CMES Shipping, Sinotrans and CMPort operating under CMG inked an agreement on strategic cooperation with Sinotruk under Shandong Heavy Industry Group in Shenzhen.

CMG Chairman Miao Jianmin, President Hu Jianhua and Vice President Deng Renjie joined Shandong Heavy Industry Group's Chairman Tan Xuguang and President Jiang Kui and Weichai Power's CEO Wang Zhijian to witness the signing process. Also present at the signing ceremony was Shen Chuan, Vice President of Shandong Heavy Industry Group.
 
All the parties to the agreement are obligated to work together closely in a range of areas around the world amid the new development pattern of a "dual circulation" in which domestic economic cycle plays a leading role while international economic cycle remains its extension and supplement, and, based on the principles of being open and fair, compensatory advantages, mutual benefit and win-win result, market-oriented practice, and long-term stable cooperation, to establish strategic cooperation in business development, marine shipping and supply chain logistics, and industry ecosystem in the global context by leveraging each party's own strengths. Under the agreement, CMES Shipping will provide Sinotruk with market-competitive charting, marine shipping and other services globally and assist Sinotruk in creating a global supply chain system and developing new international markets.
 
The signing ceremony was preceded by talks and exchanges among the parties.
 
Signing the strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of each party were Ding Lei, Vice President of CMES Shipping, Chen Xianmin, Vice President of Sinotrans, Li Yubing, Vice President and Chief Digital Officer of China Merchants Port Holdings, and Zhang Wei, Vice President of Sinotruk.
